When it comes to florals, we know there are tons of styles to choose from, so we’ve put together a guide with the top floral trends spotted for the season. Keep scrolling for some ways to add some floral flavour into your wardrobe this Spring. Whether romantic pastels are your thing or bold and bright, you’ll be sure to find a style to suit your fashion needs.
TEENY DITSIES - Smaller scale floral prints are the simplest way to wear an all-over floral print if you’re just easing into the trend. A ditsy floral print is way less dramatic as opposed to larger scale florals - the contrast isn’t so obvious making the print much more subtle and won’t be so overwhelming. Throw on one of these flirty frocks or a flouncy blouse over denim for a fresh Spring vibe. Pair with white sneakers for a more playful look, or with black combat boots if you’re in an edgier mood.
CORAL FLORALS - A few months ago we learned that Pantone’s Color Of The Year for 2019 would be Living Coral, and we couldn’t be any happier about that! We see Living Coral as quite the optimistic color - it brings warmth, brings on a Spring vibe, gets us in a vacay mood, and super prominent yet friendly. So, what better way to add some of this energizing hue other than mixing it in with statement florals? We can’t think of any. Throw in one of these blooming beauties to your regular ensemble to add an element of playfulness. Top off with a black mule and you’re good to go.
BOLD BOTANICALS - Say hello to flamboyant blooms. This season, fun and easy casual pieces get a moody makeover with a darker color palette and ultra feminine silhouettes. These florals are big, bold, and sure to make an impact. Brighten up your new look with white slides, and dress down for a casual look with some denim.
ROYAL BLOOMS - One of the biggest trends we picked up on this season were boldly colored scarf style prints on luxurious fabrics. This Spring we are introducing larger scale baroque style florals inspired by vintage scarf print patterns with ornate details such as high-low hems, cascading pleats, and dramatic ruching. Match one of these snazzy blouses with a classic pair of gauchos or black pants paired with a patent black bootie for ultimate ladylike sophistication.
